Where I've been the last couple months...

January 3, 2026: I’m pregnant!

I usually track my temperature for my cycle, and on this day, instead of dropping like it typically would, it jumped up. That was my sign to take a test, and sure enough, it was positive!!! Jackson and I were so excited and later that day, we told our families. Already our little baby has brought so much joy to our lives!!!!

For most of January and pretty much all of February, I was feeling nauseous and fatigued, getting sick almost every other day. Looking back now, those weeks really feel like a blur, and I am so thankful for my husband who was the best support through it all. I am grateful to be feeling better heading into springtime!

February 21, 2026: It’s a BOY!

A few weekends later, we were out at the library when we got the news about the gender of baby! We’re having a boy!! I immediately started dreaming of riding bikes and picking out cute little boy outfits! I feel so incredibly lucky to have a boy; it feels like the biggest honor and responsibility, plus I know Jackson is going to be the best example to our son!

Overall, Jackson and I are both so excited and so grateful for this little life. God’s timing is perfect, and we cannot wait to meet this sweet boy who is already such a blessing to our family.
